A GRATEFUL and WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS! Sometime in May or so I posted a letter about the encounter I had with Richard in Toronto. He was to this date the most gracious and life loving individual I have ever met...........My wife being the exception! Anyway, I was in my cups and I imparted to all that my wife had terminal liver cancer and she was diagnosed by doctors to die in June........guess what?.....she's ALIVE and well and her tumors have shrunk to 1/3rd. That makes this a VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS. I haven't been in touch with Richard, but it's HIS kind of outlook and Positive viewpoint that changes people's live.
I wish you all, from the bottom of my heart a most Beautiful Christmas and a Prosperous New Year. Richard, God Loves You!

I am curious to see if Darren and Pete have the Kildare episode, Richard talked about in his last interview, with one of the magazines. As you know, he starred with Polly Bergen recently on Desperate Housewives, and Polly mentioned that she had been a guest on The Kildare Show, starring as an evil twin, who attempted to seduce Richard on a beach in California. There is indeed an episode with this story line, called The Dark Side of The Mirror, where Polly Bergen stars in dual roles as a good and evil twin. I would love to have a DVD of this episode, if it is clear and available. Many of you would probably like to see this interesting episode also, and I am sure Pete and Darren can make it available to the fans for a Christmas donation to TV Heaven. Would you check and see if Pete has it and if it is clear watching? I have the tape and would love to have a good DVD copy for my library. Since the collection is about 95% complete and the fact that he won't be in a postion to help me out in the future due to other commitments, I will have the entire collection and some other material that he obtained but hasn't had the time to go through. There could be some more new interviews or shows, but I probably won't be getting everything until after the Christmas holidays. Pete will be transfering his Hotmail email account to me so I can occassionally check to see if anyone has tried to contact him that wasn't aware that he is no longer online.

I had the opportunity to fly to cork at 3p.m arrived there at 4p.m with my husband on Monday afternoon,at 6.30p.m went to cork opera theatre it was near at the hotel were we stayed just 2 minutes walk from the quality hotel,at about 7.30p.m all the actors came Michael madsen,Vinnie jones and others,except Richard did not turn up took photos with them.It was a wonderful evening with red wine,champagne,seeing the film it showed about 8.30p.m finished at 11.00p.m the film was so good Richards performance was excellent.Hope to meet Richard next year in the nearest future. I want to extend a hello to Richard and Martin and the fans on the message board!
Hope everyone had a terrific summer and is doing well. The months are constantly going by so quickly and fall is upon our doorstep. As always; I love this time of the year-the crisp air and fallen leaves as well as it being Halloween/pumpkin harvest time. September and October are so much fun because there is always so much to do that is entertaining-parties to go to and parties to have, fall decorations, corn mazes, pumpkin patches and county fairs. Hopefully; we will have nice foliage this fall season in spite of the lack of rain in this area over the several months. The reds and other colors can be quite beautiful on a weekend drive.
I enjoyed seeing I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry the weekend of August 17th! It was hilarious but wish Richard's part had been a little bigger. Adam Sandler and Kevin James were very amusing.
Any idea as to the release date for Strength and Honour???? If so; please pass the word!!

For U.S. buyers the default setting no longer lists items that are available from U.K. sellers. I missed out on a copy of The Miracle dvd because it didn't show up in the default search results on ebay.com like it always did.

Regarding the German magazine interview Richard gave were he talks openly and honestly about suicide at first when I read the interview like most of you I was Richards decision and we have to respect his decision whether we agree or not.
My sister Nicky died unexpecedly in her sleep at the end of 2004 and everyday I still miss her and think about her I miss her voice her personality I have a memorial DVD of her but even now I cannot watch it because it is still too painful. I wish Richard luck and I respect him for who he is. Love, Theresa

To Richard Chamberlain and fans, I wanted to take a moment to provide some feedback to the interview posted in The Golden Sheet (April 7th, 2007)per Richard Chamberlain.
There are two sides to this story!
We have to respect Richard Chamberlain's feelings regarding his personal effects and person(s). Each of us has his or her idea as to how life is suppose to be and what we wish for ourselves and others. It is part of life. Otherwise; we would be a little clone of each other. We may not always agree and be puzzled by those thoughts but we have to put ourselves in those shoes and ask ourselves what would we do???
Life can be a crapshoot out here and let's be honest; it can downright stink at times with the question-Why the bull----??? I have asked that question and put my answer to it many a time-more times than I care to mention or ibuprofen I care to take! However; it's like I always say--You have to be true to yourself and do what you feel is best for you.
Richard Chamberlain has been an inspiration to me because he's a special person as I believe others feel too. It's not easy being different and people tend to point that out when they see it. You have to bring your own uniqueness to a situation and sometimes that means the harsh truth and reality of things.
The flip side is that all of us on this website and many others care and/or love you- Richard Chamberlain. We want to see you continue and be a part of our life so we can continue to enjoy your presence whether it be on stage, on television, in a movie or just on the island. Life has given you so many gifts-a beautiful voice, the power of a brush and palette, a creative and astounding acting ability that has endured for years and Martin who has helped nurture and support you and your career. Always treasure who you are and know you are loved by so many people; some of which still would very much like to meet you. We may not be able to do this if you take that fateful walk into the ocean. I for one would feel a tremendous sense of loss!!!!
Think about it just a little more for all of us!

Many people in this world have been taken unfairly and very early before their life really peaked or got started. No one really understands why but we are told "That God has a plan for us all." I believe he does. However; I; also, believe that we should make the most of it while we are here. This is why we are here to begin with. In reading interview #36 and considering all I've read about RC, I cannot believe he has lost his lust for THIS life, the HERE & NOW...THE MOMENT. He is an educated, wise man and must realize there are alternatives and methods of avoidance of some inheritance taxes. He surely has the understanding of PATIENCE and will not interfere with the natural course of life. He will find what's on the other side eventually, just like all of us. I want to say that I have met so many nice people through this message board who genuinely care about others. A great year has passed especially with the performance in The King and I and Blackbeard.I am looking forward to Strength and Honour and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry over the summer and know they will be well worth the wait as well.
Towering Inferno has been run on the American Movie Classics channel for many weeks now and everytime I see it on; I have to watch it- Always remember above standard building code not below or minimum. The Posideon Adventure, another Irwin Allen film, has long been a favorite of mine as well. However; you are not in that one!!!! Father Ralph could have done a crossover role
Continue to be the great person you are. You inspire me to always be true to yourself; be honest and take the time to enjoy yourself and life with those who care about you. There's much to take in out there and if we strive to make the most of it; we are doing okay~~~~even if we all cannot be in Hawaii!

Darren, I just had to pop in again and tell you what a GREAT site you have. I'm always checking back to see what's new. I just read the article you recently posted: Chamberlain's 90's Lady. I wish I'd seen him in the musical as it is one of my favorites along with Sound of Music and The King and I. As everyone knows whos heard that man sing, he has a wonderful baritone voice and I would have been in 7th Heaven to hear him sing Why Can't a Woman Be More Like A Man or I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face. I wonder if he'd ever consider doing a CD of the tunes from those three musicals? If he did, I would DEFINITELY buy it! Nora Jean
