Dear Richard, I hope all is well with you and Martin. I wish I knew more of Martin so I can see what how special he is. Sometimes I wish I was closer to you in age because I would have loved to have you as a brother. We could have so much fun teasing each other. I know you have a sense of humor. I have a sister who is almost 35 and 6 and a half years younger than me. However she is often too serious with me and sometimes act ancient. I prefer to be around people I can fun with. I can never find enough people like that. Well once you and I are both dead, we can be look like we are close in age and be siblings in heaven. I bet you would have enjoyed a sister. In this lifetime we can at least be friends. I feel related to you in some way. I don't think I believe in reincarnation. However I believe in kindred spirits, spiritual rebirths, and permanent heaven. A person can grow spiritually in one lifetime without having to be go through so many deaths and rebirths. Only extremely corrupt people like Hitler, or any other mass murderer may need reincarnation in order to be saved from either eternal hell or just nonexistence. I try to stick positive things when it comes to my beliefs. I detest any faith or doctrine that is based on negativity. Since you have experienced so much spiritual growth in this life time, I think that you will be able to go directly to heaven when your time comes. I hope that I can be as lucky.

Dear Richard, I'm sorry that I spelled a word on my first message. I had meant to say you instead of yoy. Guess what my feelings towards my father are similar to how you felt with your dad. He was also a difficult, domineering man who was at times phycologically abusive. He died of brain cancer over 3 years ago at age 60. I wish that I could become more financialy sucessfully and better at helping myself so that I may be able to forgive my father for failing to help me struggle less with my hidden disability and not giving me enough unconditional love. The message Amanda from England gave you was so touching. I agree with her a hundred percent that your life would have been easier if the world wasn't so judging. The world can be so cruel! I have lots of trouble fitting in.
Even though I'm predominately heterosexual with a lesbian undertone I still feel like I too have to pretend to fit in.
I have Aspergers Syndrome which is a severe social disorder and considered high functioning autism. I get angry often because I don't get the help I need to get to fit in and get a decent paying job that I can really enjoy.
I really hope I can get help before it's too late. I'm already 41 and not getting any younger.
I'm anxious to be able to say there is nothing wrong with me.
I have spent most of my life loathing my disability as much as you used to hate your sexuality.
I did fall in love with you when I was nearly 15 and wanted to marry you because yoy seemed different than most men I incountered in the real everyday world. I often get bored easily with ordnary people who seemed to not appreciate those who are different.
After I found out the truth about you and your relationship with Martin, I realized that I would have to settle to have you as a friend or like an uncle figure than as a potential husband or lover. I often wished I had a soul mate but I
don't believe I shall have him in this life time.
Perhaps in heaven I will meet him. He will be the first to meet me when I reach that Eden like paradise. Like St. Bernadette I was not promised happiness in this life time. I do hope to at least know peace so that my soul can evolve to that deeper level above pettiness and chaos. Kiran Puri

Congratulations Darren on a fantastic website! I'm 19 years old from the U.K and was introduced to Richard Chamberlain via Thorn Birds at the age of 12, by my mother who also adores him. I am now a big fan of Richard and his work and loved his deeply emotive book 'Shattered Love'. hi richard,i think you are a very good actor and a very good artist. I have seen some of your movies and you always play your character so well.
